Hydrogyn announce new drummer Josh Cumberland to the band. After
two years on the throne Josh Kitchen has been let go do to
behavior detrimental to the band.
New drummer Cumberland comes to the band with previous experience
on the Universal label with his then band ERASE THE GREY.
This is not an easy business to be in and it is not for everyone,
and that includes Kitchen" said vocalist Julie Westlake from the set
of their new
video shoot for "Candles Light Your Face," which is due to
wrap production soon.
The band is also getting the new drummer ready for a long tour
that kicks off in January with Juan Croucier (former bass
player/songwriter in RATT and DOKKEN) and FATAL SMILE. The dates
will available very soon. After that leg Hydrogyn go to Europe for
the spring and then come back to the states for more dates in late
April and May with as yet undecided touring partners."

Julie was on the air live as a completely unexpected way to
start a Monday morning. Our thanks to Lex and Terry for taking the
time to play some HYDROGYN music and having Julie on the show.

A big HYDROGYN thank you to Mike Jublin for taking on the French
fan club on Myspace. You will be able to get all the new news and
behind the scene stuff before any one. France is a big area for
the band and it was very important to them to get this for their
fans in France.
New merchandise is here! We will be getting new stuff for the next
few days on the merchandise page for you. There will be everything
from hats, shirts, jackets, a flag, motorcycle helmets and more.
Some very cool stuff for you this week so keep an eye out for it.
NEW TOUR DATES...
There will be new tour dates this week announced as well for the
States. Europe is being booked. We hope the dates will be
available in November.

Hydrogyn would like to thank Metal Hammer in
the UK for making Deadly Passions
the album of the month in the latest issue. The band will be coming to Europe in early
2009 so keep an eye on the tour dates section for the times and venues.

The band just finished the first leg of the DEADLY PASSIONS North
America tour in great fashion. HYDROGYN co-headlined a show
with Area mates Bobaflex on Sunday August 31 for the Make a Wish
Foundation in Grayson, KY.
That show ended a month long campaign of a very successful run for
the band. Their will be sporadic dates throughout September
and October but the band will be gearing back up for another full
onslaught in November with a very cool band with more details to
come soon.
In European news the band regrets to have to tell everyone that
the European tour is pushed back until Spring 09. There were
some routing issues as well as time factors that played into the
pushing back of the tour their. The band is very eager to
get back to Europe and do a full tour for the great fans their as
well. Keep yourself posted on the website and MySpace for
the news their as it becomes available on this tour.
In other cool news, the band is announcing the plans to release a
special vinyl collectors edition LP this fall as well. There
will be more details next week on this product but it is sure to
be a hot one.
In French news, Julie has announced the first HYDROGYN song that
will be sung in the native French Language called "UN MONDE PERDU."
There will be more details to the release of this song, its origin
and much more in the next update. As usual, Hydrogyn's new
release is available through DEMOLITION Records in France and
distributed by Underclass Music.
In June the band went to New York for promotional days for the new
release and stopped to see Jonathan at REAL MAGIC TV. You can see

The band is currently taking a couple weeks off from the road, but
not vacationing.
The band met last night with Scott Neill from Mule Media to
finalize the script for the new video which is to start production
next week. The video is for the Title Track of the new CD DEADLY
PASSIONS. From what we have been told it is a steamy one in the
planning.
For those of you who caught the band on tour thank you from all.
The band reported a great first leg of 08 and are looking forward
to the mounting dates that are ahead for this year and into next.

We are sorry to inform everyone at this last minute but, due to
a lack of promoting, the Paramount Arts Center
show in Ashland, KY which was scheduled for June 19th (this
Thursday) has been postponed. This show will be rescheduled
for a later date this year and instead promoted by the band
itself.

Hello HYDROGYN fans. Well it's here; Deadly Passions. The
CD will be released in the US Tuesday June 10th and on Monday June
23rd in Europe. The band is currently in rehearsals getting ready
for the tour to start in July. Please be sure to look at the new
features of the web site and get your copy of the new CD for a
chance to get VIP tickets to a show in your area. That is only
possible through the purchase of the CD. Details are available on
the VIP page. Also new
to the site is the extended liner notes from the band not available
in the cd and a new picture page.
The band is currently scheduling shows in the Us and Europe this
year and possibly in Canada as well. The tour will extend into

HYDROGYN is
currently finalizing tour dates that will start in June and take
them all the way to the Christmas holiday break. The band is going
to be doing a lot of U.S. dates this year that will be split up by
a run in Europe that is scheduled to start in September in Greece.
After the European tour the band is back to the States to finish
up the year and then pick back up in January of 2009.
The band is also gearing up to shoot their first video for the new
'Deadly Passions' CD around May 12th. Bass player Chris Sammons
has also just teamed up with Warwick bass and amps as his weapons
of choice. You will see Chris using his new gear on tour starting
this summer.
Tour dates will be posted as they are confirmed on Hydrogyn.com
and the official MySpace as well. All European dates will be
posted as soon as the entire tour is confirmed."
HYDROGYN recently inked a deal with Demolition Records' UK-based
label DR2. This signing comes on the heels of the band's success
with its Billboard-charting "Bombshell" release in 2006, "Strip 'em
Blind Live" CD success in 2007, coupled with the group's
relentless touring in Europe over 2007.
The three-album deal will start with the June 24 release of
"Deadly Passions." The new CD was recorded in Huntington, West
Virginia's Smash Hits Studio and includes a cover of ALANIS MORISSETTE's mega-smash "You Oughta Know."
HYDROGYN's current recording lineup consists of Julie on
vocals, Chris Sammons on bass and vocals, Josh Kitchen on drums,
Jeff Westlake on guitar, and STEVE RILEY on keyboards.

We are announcing Hydrogyn's first ever trip into the great
state of Wisconsin at the LCO Casino in Hayward on the 24th of
July with great White. Many more dates to follow.

There have been many questions from around the globe about our
tour dates. We can tell you that we are planning a complete tour
of Europe this time and the start date will be on Sept 12th. Can
not release the dates yet as they are still in the process of
confirming but there is a lot of very exciting things going to be
taking place. There are dates for the US of course, talking with
Mexico and Canada as well.
We also would love to get to Japan and Australia but that most
likely will be in 09.
We hope to see as many of you as we can this year on tour. The
tour will spill into 2009 as well with us hitting the studio again
in the Spring of 09.
To the UK we will be there for many dates we are being told. We
look forward to seeing everyone!!!!!!

Friday 4th April 2008: DEMOLITION RECORDS would like to
announce the signing of Ashland Kentucky based rockers HYDROGYN to
the UK based label DR2.
This signing comes on the heels of the band's success with their
Billboard charting Bombshell release in 2006, Strip 'em Blind Live
CD success in 2007, coupled with their relentless touring in
Europe over 2007.
"This is exactly what we were looking for, and the label we were
looking to do it with." said JEFF WESTLAKE of the band. He also
went on to say " We feel Demolition has a great focus on their
future, they know what they want to do, and have the unique drive
that we were looking for in a label to get the job done." GED COOK
of Demolition stated, “We welcome Hydro to the Demolition family. It
really is going to be a pleasure working with them throughout the
world.”
The deal is a world-wide three album deal that will start with the
first of those releases, "DEADLY PASSIONS", coming in June,
Worldwide. The new album was recorded in Huntington West
Virginia's Smash Hits Studio. They have also signed with a new
manager, DEAN SWETT at the PARAMOUR GROUP, (www.paramourgroup.com)
who is planning to have the band very busy supporting the new
release throughout the world in 2008.
2007 was a very busy year for the band, not only touring, but also
finding new management, and a new label. Keep your eyes on

developments as we get closer to the release in June.
We just got word from Julie that the new CD is now complete.
Many big announcements will be made in the days and weeks to come
concerning the new CD so keep your eyes and ears open for the
news.
We are also starting to confirm tour dates for the remainder of
the year. As they become official you will see it here or on the
HYDROGYN my space page as well. There is a lot of cool tour news
and new Merchandise to report very soon.
Chia has finished his bass parts for the new CD and now for the
guitars and vocals. Chris will be back in to do vocals for the
songs as they are needed. Keep a look out for more studio details
as we get them.
The man who was responsible for the BOMBSHELL CD cover John
Scarpati has now been enlisted to be the photographer for the new
CD Artwork as well.
"I just love his vision and he seems to get exactly what we look
for" said Julie of Scarpati's work." We have had several
conversations about this CD and the image we are wanting for the
cover and he gets every detail of what I was looking for and more"
Julie went on to say.
The photo shoot for the Cd is set to take place in February. To

Happy New Year to everyone!!!!!!!!! The band is getting ready
to enter the studio Tuesday January 8th to start recording the new
CD scheduled for a May release. The band had a great 2007 and is
looking forward to an even bigger and better 2008.
We also want to report that the new Cd will be coming out via a
new label. That information will be revealed later on this month
as well.
The band would also like to clarify the lineup for this CD and
touring in 08. The band will consist of Julie (of course) Chris
Sammons on bass and vocals, Josh Kitchen on Drums, Jeff Westlake
on guitar and for the studio Andy Caudill will be used on
Keyboards. Craig Goldy is no longer with the band and did not as
many now know take part in the European tour as well. With Craig’s
commitments that were already laid out it was an impossible road
to navigate. Craig is busy touring and working with Ronnie James
Dio as he has reported for 2008.

the Strip ’em Blind live CD on credits. Here are the official
